Leonhard carted off field after apparent leg injury

While intercepting a Tyler Palko pass that led to a Jets touchdown in the second quarter, New York safety Jim Leonhard injured his right leg and had to be helped off the field and to the locker room.

It’s the same right leg which he broke late last season during a Jets practice, and after he had to be escorted from the field -- he couldn’t put any weight on his right leg -- he had to use a cart to get to the locker room.
