Gronkowski sets TE TD record

A few weeks ago, I wrote about the Top Ten second-year players of today, and much to the chagrin of some in the New Orleans area, I declared Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski to be the No. 1 player from the 2010 NFL draft.

Gronkowski helped prove it today. With an 11-yard touchdown reception from Tom Brady, Gronkowski set the scoring record for a tight end with his 14th touchdown of the season, breaking his tie with Antonio Gates.

Like usual, Gronkowski performed his big Gronk spike, only to realize a second later that the ball was something he’d probably like to keep.
